Bank, retail chain deals rock Lithuania's M&A market in 2016

VILNIUS - A deal between two large banks operating in Lithuania, DNB, and Nordea, to combine their Baltic operations and a 213-million-euro deal on the sale of the Iki retail chain to the owner of Rimi, another major grocery chain, were the two largest merger and acquisition transactions announced in Lithuania in 2016.
